Out and About at Long Last

Well we really are out and about again.. and how great it feels!
We left Tattenhall Marina on the 27th August but have not had much of an internet signal since then.
Leaving the marina at last - looking back towards the entrance/exit. We'll be back in October to leave RnR
whilst we travel to Scotland for a couple of weeks
we moored up late afternoon and stayed for 48 hours and took a walk via the road up towards Beeston Castle - this delightful garden is at the rear of the house to the left as you go through the little gate opposite the Shady Oak pub.
From Beeston we cruised up the Shroppie and did a very small shuffle with a (plastic) boat at Bunbury and saw the 'other' No Problem narrowboat in her home mooring. We eventually moored for the night at Calverley just below the  bridge and had a tasty BBQ, we need water tomorrow before we leave.
We awoke on Tuesday 31st August to a misty morning - a promise of another lovely day to come.

  1. And us too - it is great to be moving again, and in gorgeous weather too, long may it last.
