Let’s hope it lasts ...

10:15 yesterday morning, we’ve filled up the water tank and are ready for the off.  All the moorings at Slawit (Slaithwaite) were taken last night and most of them are readying to move off today in the glorious sunshine!

Waiting for the water to level out at Dartmouth Lock looking towards Upper Mill buildings and horse boat Maria to the left of centre above.

Approaching the very awkwardly placed, very low bridge which will take me under the guillotine into Shuttle Lock

As we rise from the valley the views arrive - glorious in todays lovely warm sunshine … let’s hope it lasts!

 Lovely scenes …

… peaceful too ...

… and an outstanding sunset …

… last night at half past nine.
