Stoke Bruerne on a nice Sunday afternoon

Our mooring for the weekend - not too many people about today.
Gongoozler's -people who like looking in at boats!
Moored behind us - the owners apparently follow this blog as well as Moore 2 Life and No Problem!
The lady enjoys painting roses and castles - very nice indeed.
Looking towards Stoke Top Lock with the museum on the left and Boat Inn on the right (nice steaks there last night)
Nearly all the homes and buildings in the village have been here 200 years or more. Little has changed since the heyday of Britain's canals, between the early and mid 1800s.
Two male mallards and a female 'bobbing' about - after this one of the males will try to 'drown' her for fun - and afterwards will swim away and leave her to it!  Men!!
Charlie, the trip boat into the tunnel and back
There's always one!!
