George announced yesterday to myself, Ann and Charles that tomorrow would be a good day for a BBQ!
Geoff (Seyella) had walked from Penkridge with Meg to say hello ...
... but unfortunately couldn't stay for the BBQ as he needed to get back - he missed a treat!
The sausage is already cooked and warming in the oven; the chicken is nearly done on the bbq, the veg is boiling on the hob and Ann has an apple crumble in her oven for pud - what more could we need for a lovely lunch and excellent company too.
Just as Ann and Charles left RnR this chap landed opposite the boat - a good photo opportunity.
It's nice to see that there are still excentrics left in this country, wish we are there! Still at home in the warm. Is there much moving about as we wish to move our boat around the 12th. Weather forecast is for warm weather starting thursday.

Hello Robert, not sure that excentrics describes us too well, but thanks for commenting. We've not seen any moving boats since we arrived at Gailey on 25th November. The forecast here is as you say but only apparently for a few days and then it's back to freezing again - but this obviously depends on where your boat is moored - hope you manage to cruise soon.
