Early September sunshine .. long may it continue ...

... as we turn northwards again
We’re still heading down river - here at Woodham Junction ...

... and that’s Woodham Bottom Lock in the sunshine on the Basingstoke Canal ...

 ... passing under the noisy M25 ...

... and arriving at the picturesque Coxes Mill ...

... where the notice mentions that it’s the deepest unmanned lock on the Wey ... we’ve now ‘done’ the river twice (each way) and have never come across a ‘manned’ lock!

This one for Al and Del - the blue boat in the middle has the name RK & A Heasman on the side ??
and the boat in the foreground is Leo 2 at her home mooring.
The outskirts of Weybridge from Town Lock creates a rather pretty picture.

We’re currently moored on the VM’s at Weybridge back on the River Thames ... as I said at the beginning ... it would be very nice to take this lovely warm September sunshine north with us as we start to make our way back towards the midlands.
