Three, then two, now one

07:15 this morning this big chap came a-begging ...
... he actually reached about 2' inside the galley window to take the tit-bit from my hand as I tried to get a photo!
The pair are making their nest in the reeds at the southern end of Billinge Green Flash
We set off at 09:50 and arrive at Croxton Flash just before 11 ...
... and a happy fellow at bridge 175
The Big Lock at Middlewich - we pulled in shortly after to shop at the local Tesco and ...
... it was here at 1:30pm that we said our 'Cherio's' to Ann and Chas ...
... they are heading off on the Middlewich Canal and then onto the Shroppie - we hope to meet up again for our 2012 winter cruise ...
... and we continue on the Trent and Mersey Canal - here leaving Kings Lock
Not sure what a gathering of swans should be called - but here they are anyway!
 Passing another salt works ...
... and a very nice house...
... and approaching lock 69 ...
... and waiting there for George to return from setting lock 68 to close the gates for me.
3:45 and the sun is just putting his hat on!
Snapped on a line of permit holder moorings just before ...
... we pulled over for the night at just after 5pm.
No houses or building in this short stretch so we should have a quiet night and another good cruising day tomorrow.
