... 08:45 at our mooring below Adderley Locks ...
... and again at 1/4 past 9... red sky in the morning!
... and lighter still 15 minutes later!
Something going on beyond bridge 72 ...
... BW contractors dredging the canal from the towpath ...
... doesn't look like there's much room to pass ...
... but there is - just! We informed the workers that this side was very shallow too as we tipped slightly on passing.
Re-piling and dredging is also taking place between bridge 74 and lock 1 ...
... the operators manoeuvred the hopper from the edge into the middle to allow me to pass
Looking down the thick of the flight from lock 4
Daisy, daisy, give me your answer doo .... at lock 6 ...
... and catkins by lock 7!
Whilst I'm descending in one lock George goes ahead to set the next one
An old stable block on the lock side
Looking back up the flight from Lock 11 ...
... and looking forward to our mooring space for the next couple of days just this side of the black post on the right - that will do us just fine!
Hi Carol
ReplyDeleteTell George that his branch is now out of the canal, a BW chap and I dragged it out today. We'll run the dredger gauntlet tomorrow and see you in the PM.
Forgot to say, great dawn shots!
