  1. One of my favourite moorings at Nantwich -spent some time there 2yrs ago on way to Llangollen. If you are into pubs, try upstairs at The Black Lion in Welsh Row - it's like a 17th century living room - interesting.

    1. Hi Elly and Mick - how cold does it get in your part of the world? Last winter we recorded one temperature of -25 just before Christmas!

  3. Sure looks kind of chilly there. Hope you're all tucked up cosy and warm indoors, though no doubt good walking weather by look of things!

    1. Yes Iain, rest assured we're warm and cosy inside RnR! And yes the walking is good in this weather as the towpaths are not so muddy (frozen instead). I think we're off for a long walk this afternoon - with Ann and Molly Moore2Life and Geoff and Megs from Seyella.

Well, yes, cold enough, but this morning at dawn, local temperaure was +2 Fahrenheit, or about -24 Celsius, a little bit lower than normal for here. Had 2" of snow yesterday, which I woukd have ignored save for some one supposedly coming to "view" the property, so I fired up the snow thrower and cleared the drive. Another task I will not miss next winter!
