The bacon butty sounds just the job. Especially today as we have lowish cloud and rain right now! I was in a narrowboat-cum-tearoom in Slaithewaite, Huddersfield narrow canal (I think), a few months back. Huge amount of decent nosh for not a lot of cash. Worth a visit, I'd say.

It takes me back to the previous few months there as well as at Braunston, where I was earlier in the year with the Narrow Boat Trust at the Historic Working Boat Rally and resulting chaotic pageant! Great fun on all those occasions
