Acting the goat and famous ...

Sunset last night ...
... at just after 8 before the rain
There must have been at least 200 goats in this herd as we walked the towpath ...
... where the River Trent meanders just over the hedge.
Burston Village is as pretty as ever even in the pouring rain!
In the ditch you can see running alongside the village pond is ...
... a tributary which joins the River Severn at Acton Hall Farm which is owned by Severn Trent Water and has been transformed into a wildlife and wetland area - a nice walk (when it's dry)
Lunch time when we return to Rock n Roll ...
... and the famous (to boat enthusiasts anyway) President and Kildare - what a fantastic sight that was this afternoon.  I wonder where they were going - or indeed where they had been?

  1. President and Kildare are likely to be heading for London and the preparations for the Queen's Jubilee Pageant on the Thames.
