Yet again your pictures capture the atmosphere as well as the facts. We were caught up with events stateside (the unexpected death of a friend and a funeral, and our new daughter in law in hospital for mini strokes--she's okay now) so we were out of touch with other boaters. We were shocked to read of the relentless rain, flooding and high winds. We hope to bring sunny skies and dry weather back home with us tonight.

Sorry to hear that you had some worrying and sad events whilst you were away and pleased that your new daughter-in-law is well again. Hope you both had a good journey home and that you’ve settled back and are warm again on Valerie - and we’ve had blue skies today - so thank you for that!
