Received these pictures in the post. Our grandson Adam (15) is raising money via sponserhip and doing jobs to pay his way on a World Challenge to Namibia in July 2010. To help raise the £3,265 he needs for this month long trim, he and his mum did an absail from the Falkirk Wheel on April 18th and have already raised a considerable amount. Thanks to all who have supported them - if anyone else would like to sponser Adam please contact me via this blog.

Sharon and Adam receiving their medals and certificates after absailing from the Falkirk Wheel.

Sharon is terified of heights and took some hard pursuading to let go at the top, but she looks happy enough here and said that she really enjoyed it once she'd let go! We're proud of her!! and Adam too of course.

Left Hawkesbury yesterday and we're back once again at our favourite place on the ashby - picture taken at 7.30pm - lovely!

Upsticks from Brinklow yesterday and now moored at Hawkesbury Junction.

Walked into Bedworth today - lots of empty shops - still can't get used to seeing Woolworths closed up. These Alms Houses are fabulous - all the arches and wonderful barley twist chimneys.
